STRANDED NEAR CAPE FAREWELL. FLOATED OFF WITH TIDE. By Telegraph—P.ess Associal’m., NELSON, November 18. The Titoki, which passed Cape Farewell this morning, reports sighting the Opua aground live miles east of Farewell light. Assistance was not accepted. Captain Vickefnvin, of the Titoki, is of the opinion that the Omni will liout off with the rising tide. Tin* lighthouse was communicated with, but owing to thick weather the stranded vessel could hot be seen.

A. later message from Farewell Spit reports the, weather still hazy, hut to a certain extent cigar yis’oii could be obtained. No sign of the Onnn was visible. A vessel passed the Suit at 12.30 p.m., bound westward, and this is believed to be the Opua which apparently floated off on the ris'ng tide.
