THE “REP.” TEAM.

To the Editor of tho “Timavu Herald.’’ Sir —i see that the South Canterburv players to play Canterbury have been chosen, and i was surprised that the selectors have omit ted to give Hogg, who is undoubtedly one of the best South Canterbury forwards, a hearing in the representative team. In every match I have witnessed this year, and especially when playing at Oamaru, (Sou** Canterbury-North Otago),hei was Without a doubt, a solid andreliable player, and the best forward in the team. Aro the selectors prejudiced against this player, or why is such an outstanding man so deliberately ignored?-! am, etc., FAIRpLAY--7/S/’24.
