Anti-Dynastic Demonstrations. STRONG REPUBLICAN MOVEMENT IN GREECE. BY CABLE—FREAK ASSN.—COPYRIGHT ' ATHENS, December 19. Prior to the Cabinet’s communication to the King, the Republicans organised an anti-dynastic meeting, the demonstrators including soldiers and sailors. A speech by a former Commodore in the navy was received with cries of “Down with the King.” The demonstrators marched in pro-, cession to the Premier’s ofiicp, shouting similarly. They submitted a resolution in favour of dethronement. The military and political leaders conferred and informed the demonstrators that the Cabinet would consider the resolution.
