REV DR. JOHN CLIFFORD. Br Cable—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, Novßfiober 20. The Rev. Dr John Clifford, the famous Baptist preacher and one-time pastor of Westhouine Park Chapel, died at a council meeting of the Baptist Union. Received 10.10 p.m., Nov. 22. LONDON, Nov. 21. The King sent a letter of condolence to Dr Clifford’s family stating that he gratefully realised his services in promoting the religious life of successive generations of his fellow countrymen.
