The services of St. Mary’s Church ■ to-morrow are adyertised in this issue. : Celebrations of tho Holy Communion i will be held at St. Mary’s at 8 a.m., iat Gleuiti at 9.30 a.m., and at bt. i John’s at 11 a.m. . i Tho Rev. ’T. Stinson will conduct both services in connection with Trinity Presbyterian Church to-morrow. The services will bo held in the Hall, pending the renovation of the church. Methodist services will be conducted ! in the Bank Street Church to-morrow by Mr Bate in the morning, and in the evening by tho Rev. A. C. Lawry, whose subject will be “Branded but Free.” The Rev. R. J. Liddell, a former minister of Woodlands " Street Church, will preach there morning and evening. The preachers at Kensington will be the Rev. A. Blalremore, 11 aim., and Mr.Freeme, 6.30. p.m.. At Waimataitai Mr Vogeler will officiate at 11 a.m., and Mr Ellis at 6.30 p.m. At Upper Pareora Mr Chiles will ; preach in the morning and Mr Workman in the evening. The Rev. A. C. Lawry will preach at Lower Pareora in the morning and at Kingsdown in the afternoon. The Rev. A. Blakemore , will officiate at Lower Pareora at 6.30 p.m. At the Congregational Church on ' Sunday the Rev. C. H. Standage will conduct morning and evening services. On Thursday next, September 27, the annual sale of work and conceit will bo held. The sale of work will commence at 3 p.m., when Mr J. E. Chiles will declare tho sale open, and it will be continued at 7 p.m. In the church at 7.30 p.m. an excellent concert programme will be rendered. The Rev. PI. G. Goring will conduct the services at the Baptish Church. The subjects are “The Fourth Watch” 1 and “Set your Mind.” There will be a Bible Class “At-home’” alter the ; evening service. There will be a united service in the Geraldine Drill Hall to-morrow evening, when the Revs. Purchas (Anglican), Madill (Presbyterian), and Featlierston (Methodist) will each give an address, while the united choirs will assist in the musical portion of the service. Similar services to these were held last year, and proved very helpful to those attending.
