SOUTH CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION. The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the South. Canterbury Association was hold on Wednesday evening. The Otago Association wrote also m reference to the South .Island Tournament, which is to be held in Dunedin Ibis year, advising that .September 8 had been fixed as a tentative elate, and inviting suggestions regarding the tournament. Reply to be sent suggesting that two days should be allotted to the fixture, and advising that South Canterbury hopes to .semi a team. The Southland Ladies' Association wrote inviting a visit to Invercargill from South Canterbury.—Held ovfii, pending advice regarding the allegation nl the New Zealand Ladies Annual Tournament for this season. A meeting of the five-aside committee was then held, when it was decided to hold the annual tournament on July 28. The rules and regulations will u° the same as last year, and entnes, which are confined to affiliated clues, must reach the secretary (Mr D. A. Bowden) on or before July 21, and must be accompanied by an entrance fee of Is per player.
