WEDDING.
MOORE--JOHNSON-. A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Triniiv Church on Juno 27, the Rev T .Stinson officiating, when Miss Laura Johnson, seventh daughter of Mrs Johnson and the late Mr Johnson of Fairview, was married to Mr George Moore, eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Moore of Christchurch. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her uncle, Mr Mills, was attired in a lovely gown of cream crepe de chine, and a veil of tulle of the same shade, finishod with a wreath of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of white and cream .chrysanthemums and asparagus lern. v/rth white sticamcrs. The bridesmaid, Miss Ella Gibson, of Southburn, wore a dress of cream silk and a Mack lace hat, and earned a bouquet of chrysanthemums. Mr Eddie Parker, of Southburn, was best man. After the ceremony about sixty guests wore entertained at breakfast, at the house of Mrs MeConkcy (the bride’s sister). , ~ , Later the bride and bridegroom left by the express for the north, the former travelling in a navy blue costume, with a snxo blue toque. Mr and . Mrs Moore’s future homo will be in Auckland.
