Sailor’s Little Story. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT (Received 8.55 p.m., July 10.) SUVA, July 10. The schooner Manua was towed off the Bega Reef on Saturday and anchored at Suva to-day, undamaged. Captain Johnson was arrested on a charge of fraudulently subscribing to a declaration that no cargo was aboard when he was laden and carrying passengers contrary to the Customs ordinance. The captain was arrested under the Merchant Shipping Act.

[A previous message stated that the Manua was supposed to be the property of Indians who wished to sail to Chile, Captain Johnston to be given possession ot the vessel on landing his employers. He gave a declaration that the vessel was empty and carried no passengers.]
