OWN CORRESPONDENTMETHODIST CHURCH. A combined Bible Class meeting was held in the Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon. The Rev. W. H. E. Abbey presided- The subject discussed was —“Are we losing the consciousness of God.” Papers and speeches were contributed by Misses Muriel Hancox, F. Burtenshaw, and E. Hamilton) and Messrs G. Mills, L. Norton, H. Walker, G. Roberts, S. Burtenshaw, and Bert Hollweli. R.S.A. ANNUAL BALL. The Temuka and Geraldine Returned Soldiers’ Association will hold their annual ball in the Drill Hall on Thursday, July 26.
