STAFFORD (4), |WAIM.ATE (0). ■Much interest centred on the game between Stafford and W'amiate, as the terms on paper appeared to be oi about equal strength. Stafford, however, who liavo apparently been practising very hard, proved too tough a proposition and by tlieir splendid passing and combination .succeeded in beating \\ annate to the tune of four goals to nil. Misses Hu It (2) and Lee K~)> scored for tho winners. . Messrs J. Anderson (Oran), and Hawkey were the referees; GERALDINE (.2), C.F.C.A. (1). The game between C.F.C.A. and Geraldine proved a hard and willing contesti Tno teams were well matched and the combination on both sides was good. The Geraldine forwards, however. were very aggressiyo throughout, and by the final wins tie bad the opposing defence very shaky. • ‘Messrs Bennington and Heal were the referees.
