j PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM HOKITIKA, Monday. A large gathering to-day witnessed the unveiling of a handsome statue to Robert Burns on Cass Square. , The 1-Jon. James Craigic, M.L.C., performed the unveiling ceremony, and delivered a splendid oration on the life and works of the famous bard. Representatives who were present from all parts of the Coast, wero later entertained at _ luncheon by the local Caledonian Society. A special presentation was made to Mr William Patrick, a local rotired settler, who inaugurated the movement with a handsome donation. The day was beautifully fine after heavy rain in the early morning.
