There was a large attendance of followers at tire hunt, given by Air 1. Twomey at Mooli on Thursday last. Hounds were thrown oil: in one of Mi Clay’s paddocks, but raded to put up a hare, coming into Air Wilson’s property, a hare was soon put up, anil a good run ended in a kill in Air Hay s pacidock. A meeting of the Y/aimate Hunt Club Committee was lie Id on Saturday. Hiere were present —Mr A. Medlicott (chairman), Miss C. McLaclilan (Master), and Messrs . Jtfi. B. -Eraser, it. h'rost, E. B. Twomey said that he wished to welcome their new Master, Miss AlcLachlan, on liar first appearance at a committee meeting, and also congratulated her on the capable manned’ in which she was carrying out the duties of Master. Mr E. B. Harrison seconded the motion, which was cairied by acclamation. The secretary was instructed to. apply to the Racing Club for permission to use ilia racecourse on July 26, for the purpose of lioldiug the annual Steeplechase Meeting. It was decided to hold a Hunt Club ball on Thursday, August 2, or else on the nearest available date.
