[own correspondent-] BILLIARDS. CLARK McCONACHY V. CHAS. HOLLANDS, JUNR. Great interest is being taken in the billiard match which will take place to-mght in Tattersall’s Billiard Room,; Temuka, between Clark McC’onaehy, New Zealand’s professional champion, and Mr Ohas. Hollands, Jtmr., a very clever, though youthful, exponent of the game. The champion concedes 500 in a match of . 750. Clark McConacliy’s fame as a cueist is worid wide, and the devotees of the green cloth in Temuka and district are now being given a rare chance to see the game as it should be played. The proprietor of the rooms, Air Chas. Hollands, is sparing no pains to make patrons comlortablo. The game commences at 8 p.m.
