In the semi-finals of the doubles Lycett and Godfree beat Bernard and Evans, 6-3) S-6; Barrett and Martin beat Heath and Doust 6-3, 7-5, 9-7. In the mixed doubles Lycett and Miss Ryan beat Deane and Mrs Baron 6-2, 6-3. Lycett, who was successful in' seven matches, plays in the finals in all three sections. THE FINALS AT SURBITON.

In the doubles, Lycett and iGodfrey beat Barrett and Norton 6-3, 6-8, 7.5. Miss Ryan won 'the ladies’ singles from Miss Rose, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. •Lycett and Miss Ryan beat Greig and Miss Edginton in the mixed doubles, 6-0, 6-1. Miss Ryan and Mrs Satterthwaite beat Mrs Rose and Mrs Youle in the ladies’ doubles, 6-2, 6-1.
