RIFT in the lute. OTAGO DISQUALIFIED. ' PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. At the meeting o£ the New Zealand Boxing Council to-night the following resolution was carried: — “The Otago Boxing Association’s expression of opinion as to the lack of integrity of the Council in its administration of the sport, its definite refusal, to use its own words, to respect or obey the Council’s decision, in fact its whole attitur# in connection with the Macquarrie-Mc-Cleary contest, compel tho Council to cancel the affiliation of the Otago Boxing Association to the New Zealand Boxing Council, and to disqualify tho Committee and officers of the Otago Boxing Association from taking any part in the control of boxing under tho jurisdiction of the New Zealand Boxing Council, such cancellation and disqualification to take effect from March 16, 1 !) 23 . ”
