RIFLE SHOOTING.
TIMARU DEFENCE CLUB. The Timaru Defence Rifle Club fired their weekly shoot on the Club’s range on Saturday. The weather was not the best for rifle shooting, as a stiff light, wind was blowing, accompanied-by heavy showers which made shooting somewhat difficult. Nevertheless some good scores were registered. The attendance was not as large as usual, owing to several of the members taking part in the Dominion rifle meeting at Trentkam. The following are the scores:— 300 500 600
