, ' NOTES. 4-The Canopus arrived yesterday' evening from Westport with a full cargo of Coal, and is expected to complete discharge on Wednesday. ' The Storm is due to-day from south, ahd will take cargo for Picton and Wanganui. She is timed to sail this evening. ? Tho Wingatui is expected to-day from Auckland via ports. She will discharge sugar and proceeds to Port Chalmers torbo docked for annual overhaul. ■ .Tho Holmdale is expected to-morrow toftake produce for 'Wellington and Wanganui. ■■The Calm is expected on Wednesday to take produce for Wellington and Wanganui, and the Ivahika is also due tomorrow to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. ; .The Katoa has been delayed by the leather up north, and is not now expected here until Saturday. She will load for Wellington and Auckland only. • The Breeze is expected on Saturday to load for Picton and Wanganui,. / The Kamo is scheduled for Friday to load -for Westporti and Greymoaith. i : Tbe Kini is timed to arrive on Monday next from southern ports to take produce for Wellington,- Napier and, Gisborne;' v ■
TEEVESSA FOR TIMARU. Messrs D. C. Turnbull and Co., Tiniaru agents for the Federal Line, received information yesterday that the Trovessa left New York on January 27 for New Zealand ports, including Timaru. She should be here about tho middle of February. THE ATHENIC. A wireless message has been received by the Shaw, Sayill and Albion Company from their liner Athenic, en route from London and Southampton, stating that the vessel will arrive in the stream at Wellington at 7 o’clock on Wednesday morning. The Athenic will disembark her passengers at Wellington, and, as she has no cargo for 'that port, will leave there on the same day for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff, to discharge. She is due to load at Timaru about February 22.
