AS OTHERS SEE US.
To the Editor of “ Timaru Herald.” Sir,—As a visitor from Christchurch to your city to witness the Springbok footballers, kindly allow me to congratu'ate those who were responsible for the management of the game, and particularly to mention the splendid hand which Timaru citizens possess. I have not heard their equal in any other city in New Zealand. There was only one disappointment—South Canterbury’s football display.—l am. etc., PHILIP DAVIS. 3 August, 19 21.
