PRIME MINISTER READS TEXT. Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, Feb. 16. Tho Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. IV. F. Massey) arrived this evening, and was accorded a magnificent reception in tho Town Hail. During the course o£ his address Mr Massey read tho following telegram from tho Secretary of State for the Colonies) to His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand: “Shull be obliged if your Excellency will convey to Mr Massey tho following message lor him from Mr Lloyd George, Prime Minister: ‘ 1 earnestly trust that it will be possible for you to como to England Jor tiie conference next June. I consider that the conference will have to discuss and decide questions of vital importance to the future of tho Empire, especially its policy in regard to Defence, Foreign Policy, and other very important questions. I feel that it would be a great calamity if we were deprived of your experience and advice.’ (Signed) Milner. - ’
