SOUTH CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION; T
A meeting of the Management Committee was iield last night. Present— Messrs P. Clark (chairman), G. Leslie, F. Dean, R. Bennett, V. Heal, H. Ecldington, and E. Rawstorn (secretary).
A letter was received from the Otago Association, stating that its representative team ' cannot play here until September, and as this date is rather late it was decided to allow the match to'stand over until next year. It was decided to hold a practice match after the competition kame on Thursday, to enable the "reps." to have a game together before playing Canterbury. Selected players are urged to take advantage of this opportunity.
THURSDAY'S FIXTURES. • C.F.C.A. v. To Raiigi, Park, 1.15 p.m.; referee, Mr C. .Smith, The following will represent Te Kangi against 0.1T.G.A.j at., the Park, at 1.15 sharp:—Rennett, Hawkey,' Heal, Cole, Cowles, Mcßae, Ksnuedy, Gow, Mason, Berry, Tavoner, Galbraith, Andreassand. Through inability to secure a full team, the Timaru Club ar, 3 compelled to forfeit to Geraldiue.
