v THE MART REPORT. Morton and Pearson report for the week ending 2nd August:— All fruit is in short supply. Good prices and a keen demand exist, especially for t choice dessert apples iind pears. dessert 15s to 16s per case; Sturm ers 33s to 15s; 2nd quality 6s to 10s. Oranges, Island 30a per case; Poonnan 14s to 18s. Pears, 3d to 6d per lb. Onions—l6s per cental bag. Potatoes: —l2s to 16s pei- sack. Carrots, tabile 4s 6d to 6s per sack; horse 5s to 6s. Oatsheaf chaff—4s 6d to 5s (3d per sack (s.e.). Wheat, g.w.f. 21s toi 23s per sack; seconds 12s to 18s. Poultry—Ducks 9s 6d to 18s per pair; hens, 5s to 6s 6d; roosters 5s 6d, to 12s. all at per pair. Pigs—Wean ers 9s to 20s each. On Satuirdav we sold on account of Mr J. Jlennev, a large quantity- of household furniture, _ wh'icli realised highly satisfactory prices.
