AUCKLAND WINTER MEETING. FIRST DAY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 1. The Auckland Racing Club's winter meeting opened in splendid weather. The course was holding in consequence of recent heavy ains. There was a very large attendance. The totalisator handled £60,238, against £59,453 on the corresponding day last year.
