THE NORTHUMBERLAND'S DRAFT A DISEMBARKING RECORD. - (Per Press Association). . WELLINGTON, May 10. The Northumberland, with returning draft 243, arrived here at .4.10 p.m. yesterday. She was declared a clean ship, and berthed this morning. The Northumberland's draft of 1330 men disembarked at 6.20 this morning, the whole operation being carried out in slightly tinder twenty minutes, constituting another record for the Dominion. : All are fit men from' Sling Camp. The Hawke's Bay, Manawatu and Taranaki men left by the ordinary expresses, and the Auckland men by a special express at 10 a.m. The southern men are to go south to-night and the Nelson and "West Coast men by the Pateena on Sunday.
