PAINTERS' AND DECORATORS' DISPUTE.

Tlie principal alterations from th? old award are as follows:—The were increased from Is 4id to Is 6d per hour, and a bonus of 3d an hour was granted iu addition. The. country work clause provides for the payment' of 3s per day.. The Court's preference clause was agreed to with the addition of a. clause wlrc-h provides that an employer shall notify the Union, of the - tnkiim on of a ncn-uniouist, within fortyeight hours.
