, THE BRISTOL CUP. EETAINED BY KIA TOA. It would appear that the Bristol Cup was placed in very safe hands when the Ivia Toa Bowling Club got possession of it. Wlien Ashburton held the Chip a few weeks ago it was tho Kia Toa Club which brought it) back to Timaru, and yesterday when: tho Timaru Club challenged, the Kiai Toil's demonstrated their right to its retention. The weather was ideal fof tho game which was played on Kia Toa green in the presence of a large number of very interested spectators.Thanhs to Mr James TtothweL'. the green was in splendid order.
