O'Hagan (Timaru) and Private P. Prendarg&sb (Ashburton) appear in a lengthy .hospital report as a. severe case and not a severe case respectively. Airs O'Rourke, Queen Street, received word yesterday that her eon, Rifleman F. J. ferred to Horncliurch Convalescent Depot on January 6th. Word was received yesterday by Mra P. Kane, Charles Street, that her eon. Rifleman J. A. P. Kane, who left with tho 26th Reinforcements, was admitted to the 2nd London General Hospital on January 6th, suffering from trench fever. Mr G. Lyall, St. Andrews, lima received word that his son W. C. Ityall, wounded in left leg, was admitted to hospital on December 30th. Mrs Bv M. Rogers,. OnJgpaoa, received word on Monday that her husband, Rifleman F. C. Rogers, was transferred to tho Base Depot, France, on December 28th. Mr D. E. King, Oratipaoa, received word on Monday that his son, Rifleman S. 1). King, was transferred to Walton-on-Thames Hospital on January 3rd. Rifleman Griffin, who lias been invalided home from the front, arrived at Temuka yesterday and was welcomed by the chairman of the Patriotic Entertainment Committee, and by theJUavor. He is .a son of thle Rev. j. Griffin, of Temuka. He lost a foot in the Somme push.
