REDUCTION OF SPORT. RACING AND BOXING. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. MELBOURNE, August 8. Senator G. F. Pearee, referring to the restriction of sport and the curtailment of racing, says it provides for a general reduction compared with pre-war figures, on the basis of the number of meetings to be held being fixed on the number held before the war in each State. Racing has been restricted in New South Wales by at least 50 per cent. Boxing has also been limited.
