SAMOA.

EARTHQUAKE AND SEA WAVE. Per Press Association. Received 9.20 p.m., July 10th. SUVA, July 10. An earthquake and tidal wave in the Samoa group were the severest en record. The Friendly group experienced the earthquake. At Hapai three waves occurred fourteen feet high. No material damage was done. At Keppel Island the wave was r/orst. Many native houses wero destroyed, and a concrete wharf was carried way. There were no fatalities. The shock was not felt at Niaufoo.
