Donations nave been received from Mr E. Brown and Mr John Lee in appreciation of work done by members o>: the Brigade at fires. During the year five firemen had enlisted. Three years' eertifiates had been presented to Firemen Beri, Findlay, Kingston, C. Daily, and W. Hendry. . The balance sheet showed receipts for the year to be £45 14s Id, and tie expenditure £2B 17s 2d, leaving a credit balance of £lO 16s lid. C'ap'tain Hancox moved the adoption of the report and balance sheet, ;md thmiked the men for the harmonious manner in which they had worked, and referred to the fine spirit of comradeship that existed in 'die Brigade at the present time. The election of officers for the year resulted! as follows —Captain, G. Hancox; VLieutenant, Hendry; Fireman, B. Norton; Secretary, J. Beri; Hon. 'Surgeon, Dr. Ilugg; (all re-eledced). Lieut. Hendry gave a report of the meeting of the Fire Brigade Conference held in March at Balclutha. A pamplet issued by the United Fire Brigades' Assceinitiou was received. Amongst other things it referred to the mer who went on netive service, and belonged +o various Brigades in the Dominion.
