DISORDERS IN SWEDEN. DUE TO BREAD SHORTAGE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn ) COPENHAGEN, April 22. Twenty thousand Stockholm workers made a demonstration outside Parliament, House. The Premier promised a deputation that the food situation will improve after the completion of negotiations with England. The crowd was orderly, but there were occasional cries for a revolution and a republic. Similar demonstrations and strikes occurred at several towns in Sweden. The'military participated in some cases. Socialist newspapers published a secret order instructing two regiments to he in readiness day and night. An entire regiment at Norbotten struck, owing to their small bread ration. Two divisions have been deprived of arms aud ammunitions. Serious outbreaks are threatened on the Ist of May (Continental Labour 15 ay).
