At the Chief Post Office, Timaru, subject to any necessary alteration!, mails will close na under: — Registered letter niaila cloa* one hour, and newspapers and parcel mails close 45 minutes easier than Ordinary letter mails. For offices m North Island daily, 12.60 and 3.30 p.m. For Ternuka, Geraldine, Ashburton, and Christohurch daily at 6 a.m., aud 12.50 and' 3.30 p.m. For Oamaru and Waimate, 8 a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dun«din 10.30 a.m.. and 3 p.m. For Inveroargill, 10.30 a.m. For Fairlie, Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury daily at 6 a.m., and 3.30 p.m. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent, of Europe, South Afrioa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Egypt and Australia, also parcel and letters for Expeditionary FForces will bo despatched from time to time by best route, withotrt special notification.
