A German official message states: — Four _ Canadian "attacks eastward of Neuville St. Vaast were repulsed. Our rearguards withdrew before strong English forces from both sides > of the Peronne-Fins high road to a line at Ruyaol Court Sorel. AVb repulsed French f.ttacks northward of Soissons, inflicting losses.
