OTIPUA SUB-CENTRE. , ALLOCATION OF FUNDS. At a meeting of Itke Otipua SubCentre Committee Mackenzie-Levels Queen, the representatives of the districts concerned handed in their reports on how the moneys raised in each district were to be allocated. The secretary showed the balance sheet which all agreed was highly satisfactory. The gross takings from each district ■'•■" ere as follows—Fair view £13014s lOd, Claremont £97, Otipua £9l 3s Sd, Kingsdown £BB, 9s '9d, Salisbury £7B 10s; Total—£4Bs 18s 3d. The: expenses were—Pleasant Point Executive £4 30s 6d, advertising £3, local expenses for garden party £5 19s 6d; Nett balance —£472 8s 3d. This amount was' divided in the following manner: Red Cross Fund—Fairview£77 0s 4d, Salisbury £sl, Otipua £45, Kingsdown £42 14s lOd, • Claremont £3O; Total, £245 ,15s 2d.
Belgian Relief Fund —Fair view £25 12* 3d. Y.M.C.A. war work—Fairview £25 12s 3d, Kingsdown £25 12s lid. Claremont £2O, Otipua £10: To'tal, £Bl 5s 2d. _ South Canterbury 'Patriotic War Relief Society—Oaremont £3O, Otipua £2O : Total, £SO. Otipua and Kingsdown Ladies' Guild —Salisbury' £25,.
