I > ANNUAL MEETING. \ The annual meeting of the Geraldina Golr Club was held on Wednesday evening, Mr Feilden presided, and there was a fair attendance. , The report i referred to the difficulty in carrying on, the club during the Avar, but expressed a hope that membeis would continue their support so that when peace is-proclaimed all would be able to take a more adtive interest in the game. Deep regret was expressed that two old members, Messrs Knubley and Maides, had been killed in France, and_ sympathy with Mrs Templer»and family was expressed. .Last jyear itlie club championships were ,wori by Mrs Hudson and Mr D. Macdonald. The ladies were thanked for providing refreshments, and Col. Moore for his usual donation. "*.-., Officers were elected as follows: — President, 00l Moore; Vice-Prtisidents, Messrs T. Hughes, , Cox and Feilden: Capltain, Mr Feilden; Secretary. Mr O'Callaghan; Treasurer, Mr D. Mpcdonald; Ladies' Secretary, Miss MeIlroy; Committee, Messrs Bam, G. Sherratt, N. G. Powell,- Readdic and Miss Kennedy. Votes of thanks were accorded Miss Pearson, Miss FiiWi and Mr Law for past services; to (the chairman, and to the ladies who provided refreshments. It was decided to open the season on April 14th.'
