MAIL NOTICES.
At the Chief Post Offioe, Timaru, subject to any necessary alterations, mails will close as under: — Registered letter mails close one hour, and newspapers and parcel mails close 45 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. For offices in North Island daily, 12.50 and 3.30 p.m. For Tcmuka, Goraldine, Ashburton, and Christchurch daily at 6 a.m., and 12.50 and 3.30 p.m. For Oamaru and Wsumate, 6 a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dunedin 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Invercargill, 10.30 a:m. For Fairlio, Pleasant Paint, Cave, and Albury daily at 6 a.m., arid 3.30 p.m. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent, of Europe, South Africa Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Egypt and Australia, also parcel and letters for Expeditionary FForces will be despatched from time to time by best route, without special notification.
