THE ASTURIAS CASE RED CROSS IGNORED. _ . (Reuter's Telegrams.) Received 11.20 p.m., March, 28th. " LONDON, March 28. The Admiralty reports that the Bit tish( , hospital . ship Asturias, wlieri steaming with all navigation lights and all distinguishing Red Cross signs brilliantly illuminated, • was torpedoed without warning on the night of the 20th. The military' casualties Were eleven dead and three missing, including a female staff nurse, and seventeen were injured. The crew 1 casualties were twenty dead and nine missing,; including a stewardess, and twenty-two injured. The torpedoing of this ship is claimed as an achievement for the U boats' by a German wireless Press message: THE SALONIKA FRONT AN ENEMY CLAIM. (Australian and N.Z. Cable "Assn. : and Router.)
