The Supreme Court awarded * Mrs Egan £450 damages against the Broken Hill branch of the Amalgamated Miners': Associations, on a charge of securing her dismissal as a hotel cook. The case was a sequel to the late hctel employees' strike when a number of non-union employees- were boycotted.
