Messrs Morton and Pearson will hold an auction sale to-day, "commencing at 2 p.m., at Beck's Quarry, off Ofcipua Road, when all the quarry material of Mr J. A. Hay will be submitted. It includes improved crusher, revolving screen, 100 sheets roofing iron, and a large quantity of. timber, doors, etc. To-moiTow, commencing at 1..30, Morton and Pearson will sell on accountof Mr W. Eiehbaum, at bis residence, Matilda Sti-eet (facing Deo Street), the whole of his valuable household furniture and effects, also, at 2.30, h:s town property, containing 35 perches in Matilda Street facing Doe Street, with a frontage of 70 feet to Matilda St-eet, together with 6-roomed house thereon.
