This has had a. sobering effect and many factories have resumed work/ recruits are drilling, streets, /shops and banks are open, and trains are running.
It is astonishing that the city has so quickly recovered. The Army will shortly take an bath to serve the new Government.. Newspapers are, energetically/ calling attention to the. war, declaring that it must not be overshadowed in the fervour of internal reform.

' The Grand Duke Nicholas was exiled in i December for telling the Czar the truth and denouncing the monk Rasputin. . ' GOVERNMENT PROCLAMATION. ,' EMPEROR AND EMPRESSi ISOLATED. PETROGRAD, March 23. A Government proclamation- states that the whole of "Russia, including Finland, the Caucasus, Turkestan and Siberia laps joined the new regime.
