At the Chief Post Office, Timaru, subject to any necessary alterations, mails will close as under: — Registered letter mails close one hour, and newspapers and parcel mails close 45' minutes easier than ordinary letter mails. For offices in North Island daily, 12.50 and 3.30 p.m. For Temuka, Geraldine, Ashburton, and Christchurch daily at 6 a.m., and 12.50 and 3.30 p.m. For Oamaru and Waimate, 6 a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. , For Dune&'in 10.30 a.m.. and 3 p.m. Forlnveroargill, 10.30 n.m. For Fair-lie, Pleasant Point, Cave, nhd, Albury daily 'at 8 a.m., and 3.30 p.m. . '. Mails for United Kingdom and-Con-of --Europe, South Africa. Ceylon, India, China,. Japan, Straits -Settlements, Egypt and Australia, also parcel and letters for Expeditionary ' ' FForces will be despatched from time - to time by best route, without special notification.
