GERALDINE. There was only a, small entry of sheep for yesterday's sa.e at Geraldinc, the cattle and pigs showing an average entry. Sales were made as follows: Fat wethers.—lS at 31s, 16 at 24s 6d, 26 at 24s 6d, 2 at 20s. Fat ewes.—s at 275, 24 at 265, 5 at 25s 6d, 19 at 24s 9d. Cattlo.—Springing cows, £lO 12s 6d, £lO 10s, £8 12s 6d, cows, empty, 4 at £5 2s Cd; cows iu profit, £4; heifers m profit £5; steers. •£5 2s 6d: IS months heifers, £3 16s, yearling heifers £3 12s 6d, yearling steers and heiiers £2 lis. CHEISTCHURCH, Sept. 27. Ac Addmgton market to-day there were moderate yardings of fat stock, and good entries of store stock. Store •sheep sold well at late rates. Fat cattle were rather easier. Fat sheep opened at firmer rates but the market eased oft to, below last week's rates. £ew season's fat lambs sold well. store cattle were somewhat easier in consequence of a. large yarding.
