C.F.C.A. ANNUAL MEETING.
To the Editor of the "Timaru Herald." s ' r >—-I am afraid that Mr Casey is inecmg.b.e. No tloabc he intends to bs qu-.te lair, hub codling could bo more imlair or misleading than to jjis st tliat because I do not profess to ■remember tlio exact words tint 1 ;:s2d in a discussion, though quite suro that your report of thwai is "oiTcct :n substance, 1 must theiel'oro be unable to remember that I'd.d not agree wnh nis contention that I had no right to f-pealc ac the meeting. It is fo evident-ally useless to discuss anything with a'man whose thoughts are so confused, tbat it would only bi a. waste ci time and of your valuable space to contnue the correspondence' further. Those are therefore :my last wards on th© subject, except that I thank Mr Casey for his Kindly c.cknowiledgement that the words he used toward® me at the meeting were not intended-as a reflection in any way. Whatever h's mistakes., x Mr Casey is evidentally an honourable opponent.—l am, etc., W. E. KINNERINEY. Timaru, September 27.
