CAVE CARNIVAL

ON ST. PATRICKS DAY. The Cave, Cannington, and Ma Waro districts are holding a united patriotic Carnival at Cave on Friday, March 17th. On Saturday evening, a largely attended and enthusiastic meeting was held when the various subcommittees reported progress, and further arrangements were made. As the programme is a fairly lengthy one, it was resolved to commence the sports at 11 a.m. A special prize is being given by Mr J. Law lor for a goalkicking competition, and ill - 'fas. Smith is donating a. ride for a seven-a-side shooting competition. Some very good promises of produce have been made, aiul a valuable horse, which will be oil the grounds, is to be raffled.
