KAISER'S ADDRESS. TO TROOPS IN POLAND. LONDON, Dec. 28. Amsterdam reports that the Kaiser addressing troops at the eastern front said:—"Dear comrades. "We come from France, bringing you greetings from your western comrades, and to express our royal thanks for your bravery, which has victoriously defeated a superior force of Russians, with God's help. May Ho help you further. Give my royal greetings to your comrades in the trenches, but bullets and bayonet to the enemy, who in any event shall be defeated."
GERMAN PREPARATIONS.
FIVE YEARS OLD. CURIOUS BIT OF EVIDENCE. Received 9.5 p.m., Dec. 29th. NEW YORK, Dec. 28. Mr Cantrell, a Kentuckian resident in Belgium, states that, visiting Liege immediately after the German occupation, he noticed German military posters, headed in German "City of Liege" with the printed date "1906.'"' This date had been cancelled with a blue pencil .and '-'1914" substituted, proving the Kaisers long premeditated intention to invade Belgium.
