PROGRESS REPORT. SATISFACTORY AT ALL POINTS. Received 9.15 p.m., Nov. 16th. PETROGRAD, Nov, 15 (a.m.). Official.—Along the Allond, Stallupoven, Augerberg front, and also at Johannesburg, the Russians are successfully fighting the German advance. iTlie Russians are advancing in the Soldau-Meidenburg district, notwithstanding the enemy's stubborn resistance. Fighting is developing on the Pluck and Warta front, and the enemy is retreating in the Klisz and Wielun districts. They are unsuccessfully attempting the offensive southward of Cssestochawa. The Russian advance at Cracow, continues. SWEDEN RELIEVED. A report from Finland states that the Rus>-ans h.ave 'withdrawn all troops from east and west Finland to join the main army- This is accepted as an indication that the fear of a possible Swedish invasion has vanished, and it has created a great impression in Sweden, GERMANY DISGRACED AGAIN. * An officer who has returned from East Prussia states that the Germans are sending whole companies cf infantry
composed exclusively of youths, none more 'than fifteen or sixteen, to .the first battle line. It is sad to see them move forward, shoulder to shoulder, like automatons, only to be cut down like grain by Russian machine guns. It is stated that Germans in retreating from Poland. propped the bodies of prominent citizens at the corners of streets as a warning to those remaining against betrayal.
