Hf.l), received a cablegram from the head office, Bristol, tliia morning, in response to ono sent lust | week,' asking what prices could bo expected for tallow, wool, and sheepj skins. The messago roads,n« follows: "Crossbreds, fine 17d, medium 14d, coarse 13d; market steady, with good demand. Tallow 26» to 365; demand' good, and prices advancing. Sheepskins, full-woolled lOd, pelts sd; prices firm." TATTETtSALL'S YARDS. The Canterbury Farmers' Co-opera* tive Association report that tho yarding at Tattersall's on Saturday comprise ed 24 horses of all sorts. Tho attendance was not largo owing no doubt to meny not having returned from the Christchurch Carnival. There was a fair inquiry for good sorts, but very few of that class were offering. Priory were as follows:—Young draughts £25, £2<3 10s. £29 10s to £32 10s. Aged draughts £9. £ll. £l3, to £l9. Harnp&s horses £6, £7 16s, £l5lOB, to £1.7 10h. Harness and sundries sold at satisfactory prices. Twelve shares in the jCuntcrbuvy Farmers' Co-operative Association cama under the hammer at Tattersall's on Saturday. They wore part of the estate of the late R. Coles, and had £2 JO* paid up on them. The sum of £!V Or, bearing a 16s premium, was paid for them. <
