HIMARU ROWING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The forty-ninth annual meeting of tin} Tmaru Rowing Ciub was held in Bntc-hison's Tea Rooms last evening. Micro was a fair attendance of members and 1 r N. Edwards was voted to the chair. Two new members wero elected. The annual report and balance sheet, wlr.ch have already appeared in t!i_> "Herald." were then considered, anil adopted unanimously. Maben Poforenco was made h> Mr HougI son to loss sustained by the departure of tho Into hon. secretary. Anderson, with tho Expeditionary Force. Roth had been very energetic and cnthus ast : c officials. It was doo.ded to minute a vote of appreciation of tho ssrvicrs of thoso officials. Tho hon. auditor, Mr Mabenwas a!so thanked for his services as hon. auditor. The question of purchasing new boats was e.ons dered by tho members. Mr R. Moore thought tho committee should er,ns : der the ndrisabiility of luiying two four-oared heats. J h:s was seconded arid passed tn ti'.e committee as a rccrmmendation. A vote of thanks to tho Press and tho chairman concluded the meeting.
