Germany is one that the situation before Paris is wholly favourable for the German army. A "Befolina/ ! correspondent reasserts as a truth that Mr John Burns's speech was made, he says, at once of his many public meetings. The same authority adds that the Lord Mayor of London opposes the war. The captain of a Spanish steamer arrived in London states that he had great difficulty in inducing his crew to work the ship, as they believed the German news circulated in Spain stating that the Germans; had captured London, half of which was flaming.
