PROGRAMME ARRANGED. TO LAST THREE NIGHTS. . The committee set up to carry out the Olyrp.pia Carnval have completed all arrangements for presenting a. varied and amusing programme. Tho carnival is being promoted to raw. funds for one of tho Patriotic Funds, and the rough draft programme now drawn up will take up three nights, Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday, October 5. G and 7. In the o>v.)up"iii, special staging, and seating will be erepted hy valiintary labour. The schools have kindly * volunteered to assist the committee, and items will be given by the Mar'st Bros. School, the Cathol'ic Ciii-ls-' Sehool. Main School boys and girls, Iliirh School bovs. Wnmatuilai boys and girls. In addition to tho school displays an interesting tiig-of-war competition is being promoted for trades and professions, and teams of dentists, lawyers, auctioneers, land and estate agents, golfers, insurance agents, plumbers, hairdressers, jewellers, and many others are now being arranged. There wili be a primary schoolboys' tng-of-war. A considerable sum of money should ho raised as the entertainment will practically bo held freo of expense, Mr W. Gunn having given the Olvmpia Kail free of rent and all lighting charges. ~
