ADDINGTON. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. Sep*: 9. 'J.hero were again moderate vardings of. stock and a good attendance. Fat cattle showed a -further hardening of prcces. The- fat sheep saJe opened at an advance, of about Is per head, andafterwards eased oft* to last week's rates. Store sheep also sold well. There was keen demand for fat pigs, especially for porkers and prices shewed some improvement. Store S'iieep.—Fairly good hoggets los, 2 and 4-tooth halt bred wethers 16s SXI to 17s 3d. 2. 4 and 6-tooth wethers (very forward) 19s 3d. 4. G and 8-tcoth ewes, with good lambs lis (all counted); full and failing mouth ewes (in lamb) 12s 2d; full mouth ewes, inferior. with lambs, 7s Gd (all counted). Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 355: prime wethers 235, to 295; others 21 to 22s Gd; merino wethers ISs 3d to 23s JlOd; extra prime ewes to 235: prime ewes 20s to 25s 9d; others 17s 3d to 19s Gd: hoggets 17s to IS; Gd.
